Carl Heilman Email list - Book release / Holiday Events

From Carl...

I hope everyone is ready for a great holiday weekend coming up. It sure is looking like nice weather for the Adirondacks!

Contemporary Landscape Photography has arrived, and we can offer autographed copies for anyone who would like to purchase them through us. There's info on our website at http://www.carlheilman.com/contemporary.landscape.photography.html
it's also available of course through many regional book stores, as well as online purchasing sites. It's also been featured in Adirondack Life, the Adirondack Explorer, the Conservationist, and Shutterbug, as well as regional and national papers.

I also have a couple of events scheduled right after the holiday. First, I'll be doing a presentation of 'I Am the Adirondacks' at 4 PM for the grand opening celebration of the Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne. http://www.adirondackfolkschool.org . The event begins at 2 PM with Adirondack folk musicians Chris Shaw and Dan Berggren, and others, followed by the AV show at 4 PM. I'll be signing books, posters, calendars, and DVD's after the show.

Also, on Wed. July 7, I'll be doing a photo techniques presentation - related to the new book, at 2 PM at The Wild Center in Tupper Lake. I'll be siging books both before and after the program. The program is free with admission to the museum. it's followed by a photo tour to nearby locations from 5 - 9 PM after the last book signing. Registration is required for the tour. There are only 3 spaces left right now. http://belong.wildcenter.org/site/Calendar/764534874?view=Detail&id=106002

We also have some spaces left for our summer full moon tour and August workshop. If you respond to this Email (please tell us), we'll hold the 'early bird' price for you for both events until July 15. Please contact us with any questions about the workshops!
Wishing you a very happy Fourth of July holiday!!

Best regards,
Carl
