Sailing Masters Commemoration Parade
Every year the Sailing Masters commemorate the Burning of the Ships in Essex
Harbor. This year Gov. Malloy will be there to speak about Essex being named an
official War of 1812 battle site. 12 Fife and Drum Corps will be there. Parade
starts at the town hall @ 2pm and goes down Main Street to the River
Museum docks.
