March 27-March 31- Charleston, SC with Tony & Susan  $1100, limit 10

This is a wonderful historic city with numerous photo venues. We'll be spending our time photographing Magnolia Plantation, where explosions of colorful flowers, huge oak trees draped with moss, and bald cyprus swamps signal the beginning of spring time. Historic Charleston architecture and the famous White Point Park full of azalea, along the waterfront. And various other locations. As with all of our workshops, there is ample field instruction and daily critiques. We'll touch on the various software that we use on images supplied for the critique sessions and there will be compositional and software presentations.

April 3-7 - Digital Edge Software/HDR
Charleston, SC with Tony
$1700, limit 5
Join Tony in Charleston, SC for this exclusive shooting & software workshop. We will be out photographing every day, but will reserve ample class time to work on images using Nik Software plug-ins, Alien Skin, Topaz, NIK HDR Efex Pro and Photomatix HDR software. There will be ample individual help with raw processing and workflow. Discussions will be conducted at each location on how to "shoot for the software" and pre-visualizing the final results, which may not be readily apparent when viewing a scene.
April 17-21 - Great Smoky Mountains, TN with Tony & Susan  $1100, limit 10

This time frame should place us in the Smokies when dogwood are in bloom and the streams are beginning to run fully. Early spring skies can be quite dramatic, and fog rolls in and out of the landscape. Spring wildflowers are beginning to bloom, and we wouldn't be surprised if there is spring snow or hoar frost covering the mountain tops! There are layered mountain ridges and photogenic old historic settlements. As with all of our workshops, there is ample field instruction and daily critiques. We'll touch on the various software that we use on images supplied for the critique sessions and there will be compositional and software presentations.

June 17-19 Eastern State Penitentiary HDR-Philadelphia, PA with Tony
$500, limit 10
June 24-26 Eastern State Penitentiary HDR-Philadelphia, PA with Tony
$500, limit 10
Eastern State Penitentiary is a national monument, a wonderful and graphic venue, and the location used in our new HDR DVD. This location provides texture and detail perfect for HDR: the colorful, cracked paint, rusty prison cell doors, towering guard towers, even Al Capone's "lavish" cell. The photo ops are tremendous and subject to interesting compositional and software driven interpretations. There will be an opening evening presentation on HDR to get you ready to hit the ground running the next day. We'll shoot from 10 am until mid-afternoon on Saturday, and Tony will be working with everyone individually on location. After dinner, we'll have class time to work on processing and technique. Sunday morning we'll critique the images and have final Q & A.

Price includes location instruction, software training, critique session, admission fees, hotel prkg fee, and special access area fee.

October 2-6 - Fall Photo Tour - White Mountains, NH with Tony & Susan $1100, limit 10
The White Mountains in NH is one of the best fall venues in the country, featuring brilliant reds and golds, colorful flowing streams, overlooks, birch forests, and numerous macro opportunities. This is a tour where class instruction will be plentiful, but field instruction will be minimal. We will be visiting our favorite locations, some very specific and generally not well known. The color window is very short and we'll be shooting along with the class, but will always be available for field help when needed. We'll touch on the various software that we use on images supplied for the critique sessions and there will be compositional and software presentations.

October 12-16 - Acadia, ME with Tony & Susan -- $1100, limit 10
Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, Maine has the most rugged coastlines on the east coast, but very accessible: pink granite, cliffs, ponds, lakes, fall color, and overlooks. As with all of our workshops, there is ample field instruction and daily critiques. We'll touch on the various software that we use on images supplied for the critique sessions and there will be compositional and software presentations.

Thursday - Photograph in the morning or class time, discussion and final thoughts over breakfast. We should be finished by checkout time.
* except Acadia, which begins on a Wednesday and ends on Sunday - and Eastern State Penitentiary which is a weekend workshop
