Meade Telescope Class - Intermediate

Meade Telescope Class - Intermediate

May 15th, Saturday, 1:00-3:00pm in Syosset
This presentation is for novice astronomers who want to look at more detail in the night sky. Perhaps you have a small telescope that just can't see what you're looking for. If so, this presentation is for you.

Subjects covered include: Aperture and high performance optics, what can I see visually, what can I see photographically, Meade advanced optics, atmospheric conditions, imaging with software and more...

At the completion of this two-hour seminar, the astronomer will be prepared to invest in more advanced equipment without making costly mistakes. This is not an intensive training but rather a simplified presentation designed to familiarize the astronomer with viable options for enjoying the Next Level of astronomy.

We suggest attending the free "How to Purchase a Telescope" class being offered earlier at 10am to 12 noon before attending this seminar. Astronomers who already own and use a small telescope would benefit from this presentation. Instructor: Mike Dzurny, Meade representative - $50 (free with purchase of a Meade telescope)
