And for photography enthusiasts (and even little ones just learning to snap that perfect photo), World Animal Day also includes the chance to participate in a Photo Safari Workshop hosted by award-winning National Geographic Photographer Darlyne Murawski.

There are four separate workshops available – one for ages 4 - 6, two for ages 7 – 12 and one for adults. The workshops are $15 per participant, in addition to regular Zoo admission and pre-registration is required. But hurry - there's a limit of 20 participants per workshop!
