This multi-exposure technique is taking the world by storm and is ideal in any of the following situations: 1) When the brightness range of a scene is too wide to capture in a single shot, 2) When shadow detail is overly important, 3) When there is a tremendous amount of important critical fine detail in a scene, and 4) When you want to produce a unique illustrative effect.

LUNCH BREAK12:15 to 1:15 P.M.

Adjustment Essentials 1:15 to 2:15 P.M.
Explore Photoshop CS4's new adjustments and masks panels and see how they can solve even the most challenging adjustment issues. These techniques will push you well beyond simple "Dodge & Burn" layers and will help you learn how to effectively handle: 1) Eliminating sunburn and blotchy skin, 2) Simulating graduated neutral density filters, 3) Processing a RAW file twice using smart objects and masks, 4) Smoothing out uneven skies, and 5) Instant Color Correction.

Learn to direct your viewer's eye through your photographs by adjusting tone, color and sharpness. By doing so, you can help influence what they look at first, and also dictate what they ignore within an image. It all has to do with understanding how your brain interprets a scene and learning how to manipulate your imagery in such a way that guides your viewer's mind through the experience (Sound freaky? It works!). These techniques will take your photography to fascinating unchartered territories, and will give it a visual edge that will separate your work from your peers'.
