CURIOUS CRITTERS Volume Two is Now Available!

CURIOUS CRITTERS Volume Two
is Now Available!

CURIOUS CRITTERS Volume Two is in stock and available for ordering from Wild Iris Publishing. Featuring twenty amazing animals from across North America, the second volume follows the same format as the first volume: detailed close-up images of a variety of magnificent critters, playful narratives full of fun facts, and back matter that includes additional natural history, life-size silhouettes, and a glossary.
Included in CURIOUS CRITTERS Volume Two are a buccaneer bluegill, a bi-lingual armadillo, and a mathematical moth. Then there's the skunk who's taken a liking to limericks, a salamander gone spelunking, and an American kestrel performing death-defying dives. Oh, and don't forget about the sidewinder magician, who performs his desert disappearing act each day.

Volume Two opens with two flying aces. A monarch butterly slowly and steadily reaches Mexico after a 2,000 mile journey, and an indigo bunting quickly and joyfully flits from fence posts to trees singing his repetitive call: Sweet! Sweet! Chew! Chew! Where? Where?

Perhaps your kids' favorite will be the adorable Eastern cottontail bunny foursome. Click below to read their hilarious conversation about rabbit coprophagy!  Go to flipping book pages to read the rabbits.

The national launch of CURIOUS CRITTERS Volume Two is February 7th at Main Street Books in Mansfield, Ohio. Click here for more details.
