How to Critique 101

"We all like hearing that someone thinks our images are good but it’s the actual well thought out comments that point out their strengths and weaknesses that enable us grow as artists.  If we truly want to take our photography to the next level we have to 1) learn what makes a technically and artistically strong image, 2) see our images as others see them (e.g. remove our emotional attachment to them to see their truth, and 3) strive to get better with each new image.  We can do this most effectively by becoming strong commenters and critiquers. "
