We’re avid nature photographers and hikers who love to photograph wildlife and the scenic beauty around us. We have hiked most of the national parks in the East, including Acadia, Shenandoah, Everglades, Congaree, and the Great Smoky Mountains. We’ve also photographed many parks in the West, including Yosemite, Sequoia, Grand Canyon, Saguaro, Haleakala, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We also enjoy visiting the national wildlife refuges, such as those in Chincoteague, VA, Bombay Hook, DE, Pinckney Island, SC, Blackwater, MD, and the San Francisco Bay, CA.
Our prints have been sold to private collectors as well as published in magazines. We’ve both won awards in regional and national photo competitions, including being a finalist in the Smithsonian Magazine's 2011 annual photo contest. Two of our nature photographs are featured in the Chesapeake Bay Foundation's 2011 Calendar. Our photo was also on the cover of the 2009 Chesapeake Bay Foundation calendar. Our photographs are currently for sale in a local gallery. We currently reside in the California Bay Area, after previously living in Virginia for many years.
