Itinerary - We keep a very flexible schedule during the workshop to respond to the opportunities the weather, light, and scenery provide us. However to plan your travel, here is a tentative schedule of where we will be and when.

Day 1 – May 20th - Please arrive at the hotel by 6:00pm. We will have an evening get together at the hotel where everyone is staying to get acquainted, go over the itinerary, photo tips, etc., before we get started on Friday.

Day 2 - 5 - May 21st - 24th - Photography sessions throughout Capitol Reef and the San Rafael Swell! We start each day approximately 1-1.5 hours before sunrise, meeting for a quick breakfast before we pile everyone in the trucks and depart. We’ll photograph throughout each morning, with different sessions all over the area. At midday we take a break for a picnic lunch and open discussion sessions. Then after lunch we head back out for more photography, concluding near sunset. After sunset we will return "home" for dinner, downloads, and a different discussion theme or critique session each evening. These evening critique sessions are a great learning experience and a lot of fun!

Day 6 - May 25th- We will meet for an early breakfast and to discuss any photo topics you want, and then send everyone on their way home.

Afterwards – Take another week off to sort and review the zillions of amazing photos you came home with. Convince your significant other to convert your home to a southwestern decor, and plaster the walls with your images. Send us an email with your favorites. Tell all your friends about us. Sign up for another OPW workshop, because you had an incredible time and can’t wait to get out with us again to make more great images!
