If anyone is interested in upgrading to a Canon SLR camera with a full-frame sensor, the Canon EOS 5D has a proven reputation for excellent performance. This is an amazing camera that I have thoroughly enjoyed using and it has given me great results... While most SLR cameras on the market have sensors with a 'crop-factor,' a full-frame sensor is the same size as 35mm film,
allowing one to thereby take full advantage of lens optics. For example, a 28mm wide angle lens will work as a full 28mm lens, taking total advantage of its wide reach. For landscapes, architecture, portraits, macro images, and many other types of photography, this is certainly an attribute.
This camera presently sells new at $1,999 by Adorama and Amazon. Used models generally sell for between $1,200 and $1,800. My camera is in excellent condition and I am selling it for $1,100. I am interested in upgrading to the 5D MkII, thus the sale of my present model will help me to spend the extra bucks for the new model ($2,700).
