Let us critique your photos
January 16, 2011 by Mark
ShareSometimes I think the best way to grow as artists is to constantly get feedback on our work. I used to always look forward to critiques in school. Even though it would be a little tough sometimes to hear someone rip apart your work that you had spend weeks working hard on there were always some good nuggets of truth. In the end no matter how brutal the critique was I always felt that I grew more and more as an artist after each critique. Sometimes as a professional its hard to get your work critiqued. You can enter local print competitions which are always great places to get some feedback or national competitions like WPPI. However sometimes with a print competition like WPPI if you want to hear the feedback and get more than just the score you have to be there for the judging and most of us might not be able to travel to Vegas to hear some comments on our work.
So I wanted to do a critique here on digital photo buzz. If you are eager to learn more about photography and really want to improve your art (and can take a little constructive feedback) then leave a comment below with links to 2-4 of your recent images. I will go over them in the next week and create a post here with my feedback. Also in the comment include a quick snippet about what these photos are about and any background of them. So grab a few images, leave a comment and lets all learn together!
