The Cape Cod and Islands Orchid Society is having their (http://www.caios.org/) 21st Annual Orchid Show at the Resort & Conference Center in Hyannis. The event is scheduled Saturday & Sunday, January 29 & 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to use your macro lense or your point & shoot on macro mode. There are a multitude of beautiful exotic orchids on display and also for sale. Tripods are not allowed.
Directions:
Route 3 South to the Sagamore Bridge and onto
Route 6 East. Follow Route 6 East to Exit 6.
Take a right off the exit onto Route 132 South.
At the 4th set of lights turn right onto Bearses Way (towards Hyannis West End).
Continue straight through 2 sets of lights.
Bear right at the fork.
At the next set of lights turn right onto North Street.
Continue straight to the rotary.
Take the 2nd exit just after the Paddock Restaurant. Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis will be on your left.
$8 payable at the door to the Orchid Show.
