From Mark Bowie...
I have just released my new e-book After Midnight: Night Photography by Example. It expands on the principles of my first, The Light of Midnight,
with new example images, exposure data, and lots of strategies, tips,
and techniques on photographing a wide range of subjects at night. To
view sample pages or to order the book directly from my website, www.markbowie.com, click here.
In other news...I just returned from the big NECCC Conference at UMass Amherst where I gave my brand new presentation, Night Over the Northeast. I'll
be doing the presentation for camera clubs and other groups over the
next year or so and will also produce a public presentation version of
it. If you know of a group that may be interested in a presentation,
please have them contact me.
Also,
I'm doing a one-day night photography seminar through the Adirondack
Museum on Aug 2nd. There's still room available, but if you're
interested in attending, please register soon. Here's the link:
My Adirondack Night Landscape workshop
runs Aug 4-8 at the Woods Inn in Inlet, NY. It's been scheduled to
take advantage of a small moon and dark skies. A few slots remain, but
it's coming up quickly. Here's the link, with the program description,
logistics, and pricing:
And
finally... I've just scheduled a new workshop through the Cape Cod Arts
Association — Photographing Cape Cod Waters — Oct 25-27. Details can
be found here.
If you have any questions on the events, please feel free to contact me. I hope to see you again soon.
