Aurora Borealis, Fairbanks, Alaska—Northern Lights, Ice Sculpture Championships & Sled Dog Racing Dates: March 3–10, 2014 Leaders: Terry and Julie Eggers The northern lights rank at the very top of the night sky's most awe-inspiring phenomena that can easily be observed with the "naked eye." In 2014, the flickering curtains of dancing light known as aurora borealis continue to be (2012–2014) the most vibrant and spectacular since the 1950s! And March is predicted to be a peak month for aurora activity. These magical lights are just one feature of the surprising week of photography we've planned in Fairbanks, Alaska. |
Welcome! This is a place where I (Lisa) can pass along information about photography -- photo ops, new products, reviews, workshops, articles, exhibitions, etc. etc. Enjoy!
