Join Audubon Greenwich for the 11th Annual HawkWatch Festival & Green Bazaar
September 19 & 20, 2009, 11 am - 5 pm, Rain or Shine
Directly from their website: Come out to celebrate the annual hawk migration over Audubon Greenwich's "Quaker Ridge Hawk Watch" - an official raptor counting site. This scientific raptor count has been happening since 1970 and birders are out counting daily from August 20 to November 20. If the weather is cooperative, it is hoped that this special weekend will be the peak of the Broad-winged Hawk migration, where they can form 'kettles' of several hundreds birds, circling birds above the hawk watch site. Rain or shine, we will have a lineup of Eco-friendly Vendors on-site, environmental exhibits and loads of activities for all ages. So, save the date and come out for this exciting two-day Festival in the hills of northern Greenwich.

'Birds of Prey' shows at 1 & 3 pm: with Bill Robinson (Saturday) & with Talons (Sunday)
