Digital Black and White Photography: From Image to Print by William B. Barnett, AFIAP, MNEC (CT)
This program describes techniques for producing black and white photographs using modern digital cameras that rival those produced in the conventional darkroom. The entire workflow from image capture to printing the photograph will be described. The use of Photoshop (CS2 and CS3) and Lightroom (both programs are the same on Mac and Windows) to perform the transformation will be discussed. Taking and manipulating infrared photographs will be included in the discussion. (I,A)
