A Beginners Guide to Understanding Lightroom, or
Everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask!
So
you have thousands of digital files and can’t find anything when you
are looking for it. All those folders on your desktop have become a
confusing collection with no sense of when, where or who is in them!
Maybe you are making the switch from Aperture (discontinued), iPhoto
(not powerful enough) or Adobe Bridge (it’s a better fit for the
Yearbook Staff!). If all you do is shoot and do simple enhancements
Lightroom is your tool. You’ve heard everyone talk about it, now let’s
see it in action. Even the intermediate and advanced Lightroom user will
find something new in this lecture.
You do not need a laptop,
but you may bring one. Tables (nor electricity) will be set up so you
will use your lap! I advise taking notes and asking questions.
