It may be a simple tool...but your tripod is indispensable in the
world of landscape photography. We almost always use a tripod to shoot
photos. Even with high-speed shots, a tripod gives our hands and arms a
much-needed rest when we have a long lens mounted to the camera. We
also use our tripods in some of the worst conditions... in sand, water
(sometimes salt water), deserts, near burning hot lava, in snow and in
rain.
