Audubon Society's 112th Annual Meeting

I hope you will join us on Thursday, Sept. 16 from 7-9 p.m. for Connecticut Audubon Society's 112th Annual Meeting, which will take place at The Pequot Library, located at 720 Pequot Avenue in Southport, Connecticut. Directions are given below and light refreshments will be provided.

Our keynote speakers are Connecticut Audubon Society Conservation Biologist Twan Leenders and Coastal Center Associate Director Frank Gallo. Twan and Frank will highlight Connecticut Audubon Society's efforts to instill a life-long appreciation of nature in children of all ages (adults included) through education programs, camps, citizen science initiatives and EcoTravel. accompanied by some stunning photography! Twan's photographs have appeared regularly in National Geographic magazines and many other natural history publications worldwide, and Frank's bird photographs have been on display in several shows. Immediately following their presentation, we will conduct our Annual Meeting.

As a special treat for our Annual Meeting guests, Dan Snydacker, Executive Director of The Pequot Library, is arranging to have rare bird books from their collection on display, starting at 6:30 p.m.
